Welcome to The Ranch House Retreat, a historic western gathering place tucked beneath the pines in beautiful Swan Valley.

Surrounded by open pastures, large trees, and mountain views, this is a place that invites people to slow down, settle in, and reconnect with what matters most. Whether you’re planning a leadership retreat, wellness weekend, creative gathering, or intentional time away with your group, the house was designed to make meaningful connection feel natural.

The Ranch House carries a lot of history in it. Originally built from a converted barn in the early 1940s, the home still holds the warmth, character, and sense of gathering that has shaped this land for generations. Inside, you’ll find collected antiques, western touches, comfortable shared spaces, and a relaxed atmosphere that feels welcoming from the moment you arrive.

Outside, the property opens into wide pastures, quiet corners beneath the trees, outdoor gathering spaces, and room to breathe. Mornings tend to start slow here. Coffee outside. Open windows. Conversations around the kitchen island before the day begins. Evenings often end around the fire pit, beneath the stars, with people lingering a little longer than they planned to.

The surrounding valley offers plenty to explore if your group wants to get outside for the day. Spend time on the South Fork of the Snake River, explore nearby hiking trails, visit local mountain towns like Victor and Driggs, or make a scenic drive into Jackson Hole or Yellowstone National Park. Optional guided walks and local recommendations are also available for groups wanting a more intentional experience while they’re here.

More than anything, The Ranch House Retreat is a place to gather well. A place with history, quiet, and enough space to help people reconnect with each other and return home feeling a little more grounded than when they arrived.

About the Owner

The Ranch House Retreat is rooted in a long history of gathering, hard work, and coming home to the mountains. After years of living and working across the country, Ken and Marilynn Clark eventually found their way back to the valley they had always loved. What started as a lifelong dream became a place where people could slow down, reconnect, and spend meaningful time together. The house itself carries generations of history. Originally built from a converted barn in the early 1940s, it has long been a place where people gathered, shared stories, and built community. Today, that same spirit still shapes the way the property feels. Surrounded by pines, pastures, and wide open skies, The Ranch House Retreat was created for intentional gatherings of all kinds. Leadership retreats, wellness weekends, creative groups, family gatherings, and teams looking for space to think clearly and reconnect. More than anything, we hope this feels like a place where you can settle in quickly, breathe a little deeper, and leave feeling more grounded than when you arrived.
