This is a very unique and simple place with natural surroundings you will not find within "easy access to shopping and restaurants...". The beauty is being away from it all - so bring the food, wine and things you need - or check out Dry Creek Valley thirty minutes away.

If you want to get away one weekend and don't want to spend part of it in a market, or if you are planning a small offsite and you need some help, let us know. By arrangement, we can stock the frig, or provide snacks.

Privacy

The Ranch House Retreat is part of Big Dream Ranch. The owners are both artists and professionals living in a house nearby, working in the gardens, the forest and their studios in the renovated 3500 sq. ft. barn. We respect your privacy.

The Garden

The Ranch has an extensive vegetable garden and orchards. We are always in the process of planting, maintaining, or harvesting something.

We have artichokes, strawberries, raspberries, onions, corn, and lots of types of tomatoes, depending on the season.

We are up to about 80 fruit trees now. There are very old apple trees, new ones, peaches, plums, persimmons, pomegranates, asian pears, and many figs (we like to grill them) There is also an herb garden if you need some rosemary, sage, etc..

Please feel free to pick anything that looks good - to eat right there or for cooking.
